Product Reviews
bought these new in 2016, over 45,000 hard miles (still tread life left), ready to replace....these are excellent tires...getting 4 new ones, my hummer never handled better in these tires, no road noise, no issues at all....
First thing I noticed about these tires were that they felt "spongy" when turning - still the case after adjusting air pressure. 15,000 miles later I'm looking for replacements. Terrible tires - by far the worst I've had on any vehicle.
Great all around tire. First Toyo purchase and very pleased
One of the best riding and looking tires I have ever put on a 4x4 Truck. It took very little Weight to balance these tires.
The tires on my F150 were starting to split open on the sidewalls so I decided it was time to get new tires. The Toyo AT2's are some of the best tires I've gotten fitted to any vehicle. These tires will not let go of the road even in wet and cold conditions, and the ride over bumps is much smoother.
Really good tires!
These are the BEST tires I've ever had. I've tried almost every other tire since 1998 on this truck, and NONE of them lasted more than 27K. My truck weighs in at over 8,000 lbs with 5K on the front axle (Cummins, Steel bumper and 12K winch). I have over 38K on them now and believe they will last another 5-7K. BUY them, VERY impressed.
Great traction for the first 40,000 miles and good up to 45,000. The tires slip just a little bit in wet or icy conditions, but no more than any other AT tire.
Very good tread life (100,000+ highway kms), low road noise, good ride, terrible snow and ice performance.
Second set of Toyo OPEN Country's, if the truck makes it there will be a third, nothing but happy with them.
Worst tire I ever purchased!!!! Have had three tires go bad, the steel belts all let go, causing excessive vibration. I could understand if I was overloaded or pulling a heavy load, but this is used primarily for highway use.
Good tire overall. On road you could not ask for a better tire; however, offroad they are terrible on wet grass. They do okay in mud if I keep speed up a little. Will probably try a different brand of tire for my next set.
Got over 45k hard miles on a 2011 diesel. Awesome traction on and off road. Recommended highly.
I bought a set of 4. I drive on road more than off road. They were slippery when they first went on truck. Good in the rain. Ok in the snow. Ok off road. But I didn't get the miles out of them. 65 thousand miles and I got 42 out of them. Still have 5/32 tread on them. Great buy when you could have 1 tire for free. Not so great when you pay full price.
Excellent tire for the money. Nice aggressive look for a AT tire and the warranty is def worth it.
Very good tires.
It was my first experience, but it was good for me.
Would buy again.
They were better than expected.
Definetly consider this tire if you do a little of the off road playing mixed in with the daily driving. I have these on my Sport Trac and they are wonderful. They wear well and are generally quiet going down the highway even with having some grip to them. Off road I haven't been able to get stuck; and I have tried to push them hard off road to see what they are capable of doing. These are the real deal. Great choice for the money and ride. They have been ready for anything I've thrown at them.
Really love this tire! I like the quiet smooth ride and that there's still enough aggressiveness to pull you thru mud snow and sand. Only reason why I went to Open Country MT was I needed more sidewall protection. Overall very good!
Amazing tire on and off road.
Awesome tyres!
Great wear pattern and have lasted me almost 30k miles. I hope to get another 10k before I buy a new set.
Mostly highway miles with heavy loads as I am in the oil field industry. They have held up great and I plan to purchase a new set when these wear out.
Great tire. Have 30k on them and they still look brand new.
Great tire.
Purchased these tires for my Jeep. They've been great!
Great tire. Definitely would buy again.
Great Tire. Excellent traction in all conditions.
Excellent tire! Very good road manners and traction in all weather conditions. Not to mention 65K mi warranty!
I wanted something more aggressive for my Silverado. The stock tire just didn't look good enough. I bought the Toyo Open Countyr A/T II last summer. I love these tires. I can go through anything without issue. On wet or dry pavement, no problems. Even in the snow with this large of a tire, no issues. In fact, I have better braking than with the factory Goodyears. These will be a staple on my truck from here on out.
Never will I go cheaper again. These change the vehicle dramatically.
A great all around tire for the heavy trucks.
So far these tires have been worth the money. I didn't have any problems in the snow and ice this winter. I also sank the truck to the axles in mud and cow crap, at a stop. These tires pulled me out of that mess.
These tires are great on road but not so good in soft sand.
FANTASTIC Tire. I purchased in 2008. Over 65k miles traveled. Good off road/on road. BUY THIS!
I bought these back in August 2013 and they ride smooth and handle great in all weather conditions. Once these set of tires wear out I'm for sure getting them again.
These tires look tough and ride very nicely for an all terrain tread. Plus Toyo's warranty is a nice assurance as well. I would definitely recommend these to anyone in the market. Made a big difference on my 04 Ram 1500. Performs very well in snowy conditions, too. I pulled several cars out of ditches during the last big snow.
I have put right at 50,000 miles on my Toyo AT and still have 40 percent tread left. Great all terrain tire.
Great tires. They look fun and mean. They really have great all around traction and make a decent ride on the road. I imported a Mitsubishi Delica from Japan, it came with a weird size of tire, but the boys at the shop helped me find the right size that would fit my van with no problem, and for the added bonus, they're Japanese tires on a Japanese van.
I had a set of BF Goodrich All Terrian T/A KO and I like the TOYO's alot better. I was a little disappointed with how fast the BF Goodrich wore down.
I have 100,000km on these now and still lots of miles left in them. Great tires
Best tires I've ever bought!
Good tires overall.
